final champion

keep fighting MU..n good luck
the last buat CR7 q ngefans

Ronaldo pemain terbaik Eropa

Dia kemudian membantu Spanyol menjuarai Euro 2008.

Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo's 'courage' deserves respect

Sir Alex Ferguson understands why Manchester United's Premier League rivals consider Cristiano Ronaldo arrogant but insists the world player of the year should be respected because he is prepared to make himself a target to entertain his fans.

  • The Scot admitted he accepted his old foe Arsene Wenger was right to suggest Ronaldo's extravagant gifts – and his willingness to display them – can inspire opposing defenders to set out to exact revenge on the Portuguese winger.

  • Ferguson admits that such special attention is an occupational hazard for the world's best but believes Ronaldo should be lauded for his courage, not condemned for cockiness.

  • He said: "Arsene said that sometimes it appears as arrogance, not that Cristiano is arrogant, and that's different. I can understand what he's saying. When a player expresses himself in such an entertaining way, defenders don't enjoy it.

  • "It was exactly the same with George Best when he was a player. It's not that they're prepared to do what they do but that they've the courage to do it. That's the wonderful courage Cristiano has, that he's always prepared to entertain and do something good with the ball."

  • Ronaldo has not always dealt with the physical treatment he is forced to endure well this season, most recently clashing with Newcastle's Steven Taylor in the St James's Park tunnel on Wednesday after the centre back left him writhing in agony on the cusp of half-time.

  • Taylor only received a yellow card from referee Steve Bennett for the challenge and will face no retrospective disciplinary action, a decision Ferguson clearly feels was too lenient but is happy to accept, seeing as it frees one of Newcastle's most important players to line up against Chelsea next week.

  • Ferguson said: "It doesn't do us any good if he's punished after the game, but he should have been punished during it.

  • "We don't want him suspended now, though, because it means he can play against Chelsea and Arsenal, so I'm not at all upset about it. It would be devastating for them to lose him given the injuries they've got at the moment.

  • "I didn't think Cristiano was badly treated on Wednesday. The game was played very fairly and in a good spirit. Newcastle worked their socks off and we don't have any worries about it at all. The referee handled it pretty well but didn't see one incident. It's over with now."

Ronaldo, Winger Tersubur United

Daftar Top Skorer Manchester United
Ruud van Nistelrooy (25 gol musim 2003)
Bobby Charlton (29 gol musim 1959)
Denis Law (30 gol musim 1964)
Jack Rowley (30 gol musim 1952).
Dennis Viollet (32 gol musim 1960)

Ronaldo shop in Madrid? What’s the point!

Hot news has just been released, revealing Cristiano Ronaldo’s plan to widen his CR7 shop network in Madrid!
The 24-year-old already had branches opened in his native Madeira and Porto, which is an obvious choice for a native Portuguese man.

Now, as the Spanish tabloid Marca suggested, Ronaldo’s decision to open a branch of his shop in Madrid could explain something about the Real-United transfer saga. Especially because reports explain that the shop will be named ‘CR9’ and not ‘CR7’… (See video)

Is there something to do with the number of the jersey? Perhaps yes, because Ronaldo might certainly carry the number 9 should he be a Galactico, as the number 7 is Raul’s.

Most surprisingly, according to Ronaldo’s website, the Red Devil Star is said to undertake a huge project that should see him open new shops in Los Angeles, Prague, Berlin, Tokyo, London, Milan, Madrid and Paris but not in his own Manchester.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo anticipating a move to Madrid and a huge unpopularity in Manchester?

Portugal in a tougher position after drawing again

A goalless draw at home to Sweden on Saturday wasn’t the expected result from a Portuguese fan point of view.

With only 6 points from a possible 15 and four points off the pace of leaders Denmark and Hungary, it looks like Portugal will not make it to the finals in South Africa.

Even the presence of the World’s Best Player Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t power the Seleccao to clinch all three points. (See his post-match interview here):

The Manchester United number 7 missed an opportunity eight minutes from time to give his team what would have been a deserved victory.

Portugal displayed good football, but their inability to hit the back of the net for the third consecutive time in the qualifiers have cost them dearly. Coach Carlos Queiroz feels the pressure:

“We’re frustrated after so much effort and a good display. Unfortunately football is not for those who deserve it but for those who win,”

“It’s not over though we have to admit we are in a more difficult situation.”

Portugal certainly lack of the indispensable winning mentality that works out wonders. Captain Cristiano Ronaldo couldn’t hide his discontent at his team failure to click with his good passes and score.

The Portuguese need to break the curse that has let them draw goalless for the third time in a row in the qualifiers. A single win against Malta last year isn’t enough to help them become hot challengers for the first spot especially in Group A.

Finishing second his perhaps what Portugal will try and achieve. However, it goes without saying that securing the first place is the safest thing to manage. The Seleccao might have to face the likes of difficult oppositions such as France, Germany or Russia in the playoffs – which isn’t an easy task at all.

All the same, Ronaldo still has faith in his side’s chances of reaching the World Cup. The skipper prefers to be optimistic and brush away any fears.

Portugal face South Africa on March 31st in a friendly in Switzerland. Victory at last may help them discover the perfect tonic to continue their World Cup qualification campaign which resumes in June.

Ronaldo to break Portugal’s goal drought curse?

A goal drought has hit the Portuguese national team since last year. Three consecutive goalless draws in their World Cup campaign have put them in an embarrassing situation to qualify for the finals…

Coincidently, these results have occurred since Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to the squad after curing from his ankle operation last summer.

The 2006 World Cup semi-finalists seemed to be on a good track with crushing victories against the Faroe Islands and Malta after the Euros.

(See Portugal’s last qualifier with goals):

Luis Nani was Portugal’s Star Man during Ronaldo’s absence;the 22-year-old’s splendid form looked to have compensated the talismanic number 7 skipper’s absence.

But a stunning 3-2 defeat at home to Denmark in September now seems to have laid a curse on the Portuguese that is yet to be broken.

In Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese national team possesses the best skipper in terms of physical potential. However, even his presence in the squad cannot help Portugal solve what has become a real enigma: to score at least a goal.

Portugal need to find a solution to unlock this problem; a friendly match against World Cup hosts South Africa could be the perfect meeting for Queiroz’s side to rediscover their goal scoring form.

The Portugal coach has taken this encounter very seriously. He might even risk playing Cristiano Ronaldo regardless of Manchester United’s respect.

“There is only one meaning to play South Africa,” Carlos Queiroz said after a training session at the Pontaise stadium.

“It is just to play against one team that is sure to be competing in the World Cup. It is an African team, a different style.

“There is nothing personal about the game against South Africa,

“Except the need for just one goal.”

Queiroz wants to see his team score this “one goal” he is dreaming about and clinch victory.

Will Captain Cristiano Ronaldo find an answer to Portugal’s goal drought since his return to the squad?

Ronaldo to trap Inter again?

The last time Manchester United played Inter at Old Trafford was back in 2007 in a pre-season friendly game.
The Red Devils eventually lost 3-2 to the Nerazzuri, meaning that they failed to make a comeback.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to reduce the deficit when his free kick was headed into the net by Adriano like you can see on this video.

The final score line in this match though (a 3-2 defeat) is definitely not what United would love to achieve tonight. Not even a draw other than 0-0 will be alright for them to progress to the next stage.

But something which Ronaldo would certainly love to do is to trap Inter into his net again.

Cristiano Ronaldo donates to Cancer-stricken mum’s saviors

Millionaire Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has donated £100,000 to help the hospital that saved his mother build a cancer centre in his native island Madeira.

Ronaldo made the gift to the Portuguese League Against Cancer, which must enable them to create a centre in the Hospital Centre based in the capital Funchal.

Two years after removing a lump in her breast, the Portuguese Ace winger’s mum Dolores Aveiro is well alive and fit enough to live each day of her life with a smile on her face.

A successful radiotherapy course and anti-cancer drugs are what help her fight the disease. And reports quote that Ronaldo is most grateful to the job of the doctors.

“Cristiano is eternally grateful to the doctors and nurses who saved his mum’s life,” a friend stated.

Strengthened by the weakness caused through his father’s death, Cristiano Ronaldo has managed to get life going in the best way he can, submerged with success in his professional life and love in his family.
